The short version

ClearHelp does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the site. We do not sell your data. We do not display ads. We collect minimal anonymous usage data to improve the platform.

What we collect

• ZIP code searches: When you search for resources by ZIP code, we may log the ZIP and category to understand which areas and needs are most common. We do not store IP addresses alongside search queries.
• Anonymous usage analytics: We use privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking) to understand how many people visit and which pages are most useful. No cookies that track you across the web.
• Feedback form submissions: If you contact us or submit a resource correction, we receive the content of your message and the email address you provide.

What we do not collect

• We do not require sign-up, login, or account creation.
• We do not collect your name, phone number, or email address unless you contact us directly.
• We do not collect your precise location — only the ZIP code you enter voluntarily.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not display advertising.
• We do not build user profiles.

Third-party services

ClearHelp is hosted on Netlify and uses Google Fonts for typography. These services may process request metadata (e.g., IP addresses for CDN routing). We have configured these services to minimize data collection.

Resource listings on ClearHelp link to external organizations. Once you leave ClearHelp, their privacy policies apply.

Your rights

Because we collect minimal data and do not require accounts, there is little personal data to request or delete. If you submitted a resource correction or feedback and want that message deleted, contact us at privacy@clearhelp.org.
